
as i was eating my first clementine for the day (thanks to abby for my new addiction to them), i noticed the little trees that they contained within the peel. i foresee a softground etching in the future! these would make perfect little tree imprints onto a plate to etch….im excited with the ideas and possibilities that my little clementine forest contains!

again….this derives from my strange obsession with random objects placed in an organic situation. so, here we have an ironing board in the forest.

this weeks topic is “contained” so the first thing that [strangely] came to mind was a tree stump in a jar…so i drew just that…

here is the first drawing that came from my previous post “inspiration in the forest…”. im hoping more come from this inspiration. this isnt exactly the direction i thought i was going to take with this, but it turned out rather interesting. hopefully more should follow.

hopscotching in the forest is a beautiful past-time. this reminds me of my childhood…
