for some reason a plastic water bottle seemed fitting for this weeks topic {artificial}. I’ve always thought that there was something ironic about purchasing water in a bottle…especially ones that say things such as “pure”, “natural”, “spring water”…and so forth. what are your thoughts?
my instinct says to cut my hair off (short)….but then i resist.
its been an ongoing struggle with myself.
i think its about to happen soon though….maybe.

this weeks topic is “contained” so the first thing that [strangely] came to mind was a tree stump in a jar…so i drew just that…
she finally resolved to leave her hair as it was and to stop worrying about it.
ill be honest…when i read this weeks topic, i had no idea what it meant. so after looking it up, i learned that it means in secrecy, or held in secret. so the first thing that came to mind was something scandalous. that then led to a drawing of innocent footsie between two eccentric lovers…
finally….heres my submission for IF. for some reason i have named this little lady ‘sally’, and she seems to have gotten too rambunctious at the christmas party…
another new paper sketch. im loving doing simple line drawings lately. seems very gratifying.
one of those situations that merely the aftermath is left for you to judge what happened there.
so yes, i temporarily fell off of the illustration friday wagon, but hopefully my ride will last a little longer this time…my entry for this weeks topic, opinion.
