So The Little Craft Show happened. And it was mind blowing to say the least! This was an event that my friend Natalie and I dreamt up and ran with. It’s easy to sit and dream of an ideal event, but my lans….we actually did it! With nearly 600 attendants and 25 vendors, we were thrilled to bring a new indie craft show to Northwest Arkansas and we plan to keep it going every December. A spring show would be fun, but we want to let the excitement swell until December! There were so many incredible people involved in making this event happen….so thanks y’all…each and every one of you!
p.s. Happy Christmas Eve!
Hey everyone! We just got back from the Austin Renegade Holiday Sale from this past weekend and it rocked our socks off! We saw so many incredible vendors with extraordinary talent, along with a plethora of hipsters, a Mer-Jack, chicken tattoos, plenty of beer, and knit balls, by Knitta Please (I LOVE their name)! I tweeted a few more pictures that you can see here if you haven’t had enough!
I’ve been working, my fingers to the bones for the last several weeks preparing for my booth at Renegade. I’m thrilled, honored, and elated to be a part of Austin’s 1st ever Renegade Holiday Sale! If you’re in the area this coming weekend PLEASE come and see me and all of the other incredible vendors!

Here are my two contributions to the Arts Center of the Ozarks annual 5 x 5 inch canvas fundraiser. Area artists are given a canvas (or sometimes 2!) to do with as they please and then return for an auction to raise money for the non-profit organization.
i recently designed these halloween cards. super cute and available for purchase in my shop!
this is rather addictive, expect more to come!
meet “boy” griesse whom has recently moved into the perrodin house. he actually belongs to our friends who just moved to germany and were unable to take him at this time. though a temporary move, we sure love him.

by far mary's most famous work to date. accepted into multiple well-known exhibitions. so beautiful.

"extension of a womans self." installation of slip cast crocheted houses;homes. {proud to own one of these!}
meet my good friend mary. this girl is incredible. currently working on her masters at virginia commonwealth, she works primarily with clay and fibers {sometimes simultaneously}.
the donkeys, elephants, and independents all showed up to celebrate Raine’s seventh year of life! Raine picked the theme of “president party” {not sure where it came from} for her birthday, it was fun making this happen for her.

our friend suzanne recently made a limited edition coloring book with crayons and we were fortunate enough to get the artist’s proof. well….raine was lucky enough to get it!

this year i received some pretty incredible gifts for my birthday. amazing enough that i thought i should share with you and show a bit of appreciation.
included in the photo is a new {much needed and larger} french press from jonathan. he also printed photos and updated the frames around our house as an added gift {hence the framed photo of the girls}, abby made an incredible hardbound book for me {that is blank inside} which probably deserves its own photo, the book and the precious stuffed owl were from both abby and suzanne. raine made a halloween themed triptych to give me, you can only see part of it in the background {it includes a bat (shown), a witch on a broom, and two cats}, also, my incredible inlaws surprised me with a cast iron chimenea, my mother bought me a ton of new clothes, pops sent money, and on top of it all, i was fed mexican and american delicacies for lunch and dinner!!

here are a few shots i took before and after our perrodin potluck last saturday. i have been terrible about getting my camera out at our parties lately…..i need to work on that. i thought these were pretty enough to share though. i took a ton of photos with this blanket my mom made from the 70′s….its such a great splash of color!

our friends jonathan and valerie griesse harvested a beautiful garden this past summer, included in that was a surplus of watermelon. we were lucky enough to share in the opening of the “best” one last week while raine partook in her own mini-melon.

jonathan so graciously volunteered to make invitations for our upcoming potluck. he knows that my time is extremely tight these days and that i would want to do more than i had time to do. hes definitely raising the bar. is it fair to say that im fortunate for such an incredible man?
